Step into the role of a diplomat in this engaging two week introduction to Model United Nations. Designed for students new to MUN, this program strengthens essential academic and communication skills while enriching students’ understanding of current global issues. Participants will explore topics such as international conflict, human rights, global health, and environmental policy while learning the fundamentals of country research, resolution writing, and parliamentary procedure. Through structured lessons and interactive practice, students develop confidence in public speaking, persuasive writing, critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving. The experience culminates in a two-day conference simulation, where students apply their learning in a realistic Model UN setting. No prior experience is required.
